Green Bowl Beach - Bukit Peninsula in Bali

Atmosphere
This surfing beach is not suitable for swimming if you do not intend on surfing. You can hide from the sun in one of the several caves.
Water
Swimming is problematic because of an abundance of sharp rocks and strong current. It is highly recommended NOT to swim here. People drown here from time to time.
Sand
Soft, light beige. Very small sandy area.
Cleanliness
Clean, even in rainy season.
Access
Difficult access. A 300 step steep staircase leads down to the beach. Going down is hard, going up is twice as hard. You will encounter many monkeys on the way.
Visitors
Mostly surfers.
Entrance
Only pay to enter the beach. 5,000 Rp per bike.
Amenities
No amenities. On the cliff by the parking lot vendors sell water and snacks.
Safety
No lifeguards. Swimming is very very dangerous. Strong currents.
Nearby
On the cliff before the way down to the beach is a Balinese temple.
