This surfing beach is not suitable for swimming if you do not intend on surfing. You can hide from the sun in one of the several caves.
Swimming is problematic because of an abundance of sharp rocks and strong current. It is highly recommended NOT to swim here. People drown here from time to time.
Soft, light beige. Very small sandy area.
Clean, even in rainy season.
Difficult access. A 300 step steep staircase leads down to the beach. Going down is hard, going up is twice as hard. You will encounter many monkeys on the way.
Only pay to enter the beach. 5,000 Rp per bike.
No amenities. On the cliff by the parking lot vendors sell water and snacks.
No lifeguards. Swimming is very very dangerous. Strong currents.
On the cliff before the way down to the beach is a Balinese temple.
